Bush Envisions 50 Year U.S. Presence In Iraq Like S.Korea

The following article by Steve Holland is chilling. It details a lengthy period of American military occupation in Iraq in order to stabalize oil supplies for decades to come.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President George W. Bush would like to see a lengthy U.S. troop presence in Iraq like the one in South Korea to provide stability but not in a frontline combat role, the White House said on Wednesday.

The United States has had thousands of U.S. troops in South Korea to guard against a North Korean invasion for 50 years.

Well, it was to be expected, as they built the largest embassy and base in Iraq than anywhere else in the world. That's probably where all the reconstruction money went.

Good point. You also have to wonder where all the missing oil went too!

Into W's and related bank accounts.

I thought so!!!!
